Organization #1

This is my first post for Organization DIY style. I know you ladies are just like me and you have beaucoux amounts of Makeup, Jewelry, Clothes, Shoes, Polish, etc… Well here is my first post (Jewelry Edition)

I recently purchased a jewelry rack from BrylaneHome.com It is a life saver with millions of holes and hooks and racks. It cost 79.99 regularly I think the sale is for 59.99 and I had a 20% off coupon so I got it for $48.00 a little pricey but definitely worth it. You can mount it on the wall or on a door hook all included in the package.
Previously I had a jewelry box that sat on top of my vanity and I had to use one of my vanity drawers for all of my jewelry. This rack really saves me a lot of space and I have an extra drawer for makeup. It is a lifesaver I don’t have to worry about knocking the jewelry box over or I cant find the match to my earrings because everything is organized all in one rather big rack.

Okay there is a Husband/boyfriend post going around and I was so excited to participate. My husband works so hard he comes home and passes out so I always have to wake him up at least once to get on his nerves. LOL And today I woke him up and asked him a few questions for my posting. Here goes;

1. She’s sitting in front of the T.V. what is on the screen?

A scary movie

I do love scary movies but I watch more reality TV than they come out with scary movies. I have seen them all though. So I give him this one.

2. Your out to eat, what kind of dressing does she get on her salad?

You don’t eat salad

He’s right, I only eat salad when I feel extreeeemely fat

3. What's one food she doesn’t like?

You eat everything

NO I don't , I hate pigs feet. LOL I think he's saying I'm greedy.

Anything fruity

Correct, I literally tell the waiter/bartender, “Give me something fruity”

5. What size shoe does she wear?

I don’t know

“9” I really wouldn’t expect him to know considering he just hands me the money to shop.

Money

Rotfl, I wasn’t expecting him to say that but it’s a good answer. I though he would say weave or hair

Anything with meat on it.

This is actually a reality check answer for me because I do catch myself losing time after watching TV all day.

Hi Beauties, I really just want to acknowledge the fact that the world of fashion and Body Jewelry is changing dramatically. I love the piercings and everything but now~days people are saying Out with the Body Piercings and In with the Dramatic Body Chains. Look at my view and notes on some of the new accessories we have to jazz up out outfits.

The eyebrow ring, I’ve never really been a fan of it but it is actually cute on some people.

Im  loving the new head pieces they also add a bit of elegance to any outfit especially the BOHO look

I  tried getting a tongue ring and took it out the next day, couldn’t take the pain and I couldn’t eat. I think this is the most judged piercing that is visible.

Once again another piece that will make a shirt or dress look like a million$ I love it cant wait to get my hands on one

Like I said I love some of the body piercings but I think the new Body Jewelry Chains might knock them out of the park.

Kim K inspired Head Pieces

My HeadPiece Experiment



Hi Beauties in my opinion my accessories are the key ingredients to my outfit. So for my cousins B Day gift I wanted to surprise her and make her my perfect little experiment to make head jewelry on.

  So after doing her hair one day I secretly measured her head by taking a piece of string measuring all the way around her head and they tying a knot. Then I measured her head from front to back then tyed a knot. I went to my local craft store Michaels and purchased a measuring tape for $1.00 and I purchased chain for $3.99 and braided material for $1.99. The head pieces came out very pretty on my manican(please excuse her bad hair dayLOL.)

Oil Control with Phillips Milk of Magnesia

Okay Beauties I am another Milk of Magnesia statistic. I have extremely oily skin, all over my face including my cheeks. I've used several primers, and oil control foundations and powders but after 4 hours all of them end with the same result, me looking like a "grease monkey".

I did a little research on YouTube and everyone says Phillips Milk of Magnesia actually will help keep the oil under control.After moisturizing apply a thin laying being sure to rub, rub, rub it in until it dries clear, then apply your foundation or go through your   regular routine.

10lbs lost ~Watermelon

Today I want to share with you how I lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks eating watermelons. It is now watermelon season and I love to eat watermelons because they are sweet and they fill me up.

I decided to do a review on Curls Uleashed by Organic Root Stimularo, one of the products I've been wanting to try for a while now. While at the Mr.Chew Multicultural Hair Affair I received 5 samples of the products in a line of 7.

My 4 year old is the perfect model for this line, she has never had any processing or chemicals on her hair. This line is to suit the natural hair beauties with curly, wavy, kinky or coily hair types.

For my Hair Queens, Ive recently returned from the Lake Charles, LA Mr.Chew Multicultural Hair Affair

This was my first Hair Show outside of School and I was very pleased to network with different product lines such as;

as these were products that I was already familiar with but had no clue how to use.

I will be doing a lot of hair related product reviews in the near future!!!!!!

Now as far as the competition goes I decided not to compete but I was a model and my former cosmetology instructor was my stylist here are a few pictures of the results.
