Kim K inspired Head Pieces

My HeadPiece Experiment



Hi Beauties in my opinion my accessories are the key ingredients to my outfit. So for my cousins B Day gift I wanted to surprise her and make her my perfect little experiment to make head jewelry on.

  So after doing her hair one day I secretly measured her head by taking a piece of string measuring all the way around her head and they tying a knot. Then I measured her head from front to back then tyed a knot. I went to my local craft store Michaels and purchased a measuring tape for $1.00 and I purchased chain for $3.99 and braided material for $1.99. The head pieces came out very pretty on my manican(please excuse her bad hair dayLOL.)

Oil Control with Phillips Milk of Magnesia

Okay Beauties I am another Milk of Magnesia statistic. I have extremely oily skin, all over my face including my cheeks. I've used several primers, and oil control foundations and powders but after 4 hours all of them end with the same result, me looking like a "grease monkey".

I did a little research on YouTube and everyone says Phillips Milk of Magnesia actually will help keep the oil under control.After moisturizing apply a thin laying being sure to rub, rub, rub it in until it dries clear, then apply your foundation or go through your   regular routine.

10lbs lost ~Watermelon

Today I want to share with you how I lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks eating watermelons. It is now watermelon season and I love to eat watermelons because they are sweet and they fill me up.

Watermelon is said to have the most nutrition per calorie of common foods. They are actually the most clean of non organic fruits and vegetables.

I decided to do a review on Curls Uleashed by Organic Root Stimularo, one of the products I've been wanting to try for a while now. While at the Mr.Chew Multicultural Hair Affair I received 5 samples of the products in a line of 7.

My 4 year old is the perfect model for this line, she has never had any processing or chemicals on her hair. This line is to suit the natural hair beauties with curly, wavy, kinky or coily hair types.

Its been a while since Ive posted my Nails of the Week but here is my latest that I am currently wearing now. I have been networking and researching and learning new nail designs. I ultimately became overwhelmed with ideas and I didnt have enough fingers for them All. LOL

For my Hair Queens, Ive recently returned from the Lake Charles, LA Mr.Chew Multicultural Hair Affair

This was my first Hair Show outside of School and I was very pleased to network with different product lines such as;

Now as far as the competition goes I decided not to compete but I was a model and my former cosmetology instructor was my stylist here are a few pictures of the results.

I purchased these flexi rods at my local Sally's Beauty Supply and there was about 10 in the pack for like 9.00

 It Comes in the pack straight like the picture below on the left.
When you wrap your hair around it it looks like the picture above to the right.

For my product review today I purchased the e.l.f. Makeup Mist & Set

It is used to keep your makeup staying in place all day with an invisible hold.

This is the start of my day.

This is what it looks like at the end of the day. Still in tact, not a very good picture though

Now this is a day later when I tried to wear my makeup without the mist. By the end of the day I look like this, all of my makeup just looks blurry and some spots have faded all together and you can see a lot of my flaws. So overall I rate this product with 10 stars and I will be a faithful customer.

This was my first attempt at the Kiss Stick ons and It was soooooo easy it took maybe 10 minutes and the different designs that are offered are so pretty.

I got this one at my local Dollar General for $3.00

Mardi Gras Nails

Mardi Gras Inspired

I am not a big Mardi Gras fan but I love colors and I had this fabulous pair of earrings in my shop and I wanted to match them.

I used a Color Club polish named " Psychedelic Scene"

On the middle finger I used a peel and stick lace pattern and a peel and stick gold rhinestone pattern.

On the ring finger I used my plate and scrapper in a purple pattern and I used my dotter to dot green and gold on top of it.

3 Day Count Down **Birthday Girl***

Birthday Girl in the House Beauties!!!!
This is my 3 day count down to my Birthday, All I know is I want to look fabulous and upgrade my makeup because I have been slacking. Today I have Gold on my lid top lid, Brown in my crease and baby pink under my brow. I lined my bottom lash with the same gold color. And I have big beautiful curls to match my big beautiful style.

HIP High Intensity Pigment

I purchased this product about a year ago and it came with a little small brush. I had a hard time getting the hang of drawing a steady straight line on my lid, so now a year later I decided to try again since I have been working on my makeup skills anyway. I used the same type of brush but a lot longer so that I can grip it better and I think I love this stuff now. It makes my line look like the liquid liner. It doesnt smear or fade it is genius. Below is a sample of my line.

January Shoes

The name of my new Shoe Dazzle shoe this month is  Bly. Its like a sparkling silver with a hint of black. I love them and I cant wait to wear them, most likely Sunday to church.  I actually have 2 pair I purchased these at the end of December because all of Shoe Dazzle Shoes were 50% off so I got 2 for the price I usually only get 1. I know I have been switching up my polish a lot but I braid hair everyday so it doesn't last very long, and I have so many new ideas and polishes to try I get a little impatient. I really like the China Glaze 3D collection because the glitter dries super fast and the quick drying top coat really makes it a lot easier. I move around my house a lot cleaning, cooking and tending to the kids so I need a polish that dries very fast so that I can move on and still be cute. This Works For Me!!!!!!
